Cpl. Ian Stewart, USMC Memorial Fund



 

 

Cpl. Ian Stewart was killed December 12, 2004, fighting for his country in Fallujah, Iraq, serving with Kilo Company, 3rd Battallion, 5th Marines

1st Marine Division from Camp Pendleton, California .

 He was born the son of Dana, Jr. and Dawn Bennett Stewart.  He was the nephew of Semper Fi Company Owner, Pam Bennett.

 

To honor the memory of her nephew, Ian Stewart, Pam Bennett established this fund to serve the charitable needs of Marines attached to the various reserve centers served by her company, Semper Fi Company.  These needs include, but are not limited to, educational, health, and medical needs.  The fund, held and managed by Michigan Gateway Community Foundation, accepts contributions from outside individuals and organizations with a desire to support the needs of Marines in the service to their country. 

The Semper Fi Company/Cpl. Ian Stewart, U.S.M.C. Memorial Fund is a donor advised fund.

This fund shall be used only for charitable, educational, scientific, and human services purposes in furtherance of the mission of Michigan Gateway Community Foundation.
